MDREX partners with Japanese consulting firm eCompliance!

To facilitate the introduction of innovative medical devices, including domestic AI, into Japan, as well as the entry of Japanese companies into Korea, MDREX has agreed to promote strategic business cooperation with eCompliance. eCompliance is a consulting firm that specializes in medical device licensing and insurance registration in Japan, and will serve as our Japan Partner. Japan Partner has been in business for over 20 years and has experience in licensing and insurance for various products. The CEO, Koichi Murayama, has software development and management experience at IBM Japan and is considered an AI expert in Japan.

To effectively register innovative medical devices for insurance in Japan, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) requires products and technologies to be classified as C1 (New Functionality) or C2 (New Functionality, New Technology). This classification necessitates an accurate analysis of existing products and technologies. MDREX, in partnership with Japanese experts, can provide effective support for these tasks.
